Terms and Conditions for www.parsandpaps.ca

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of www.parsandpaps.ca (“the site”), operated by A1A Signs and Graphics Inc. (“we”, “us”, “our”, “the Company”). By accessing or ordering from this site, you accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Products and ordering
We sell PARS and PAPS barcode labels, label sheets, decals, and A8A forms, primarily for the transport industry. Most of our products are custom-printed to your specifications (company name, carrier codes, numbering) and are made to order.
All information printed on your order is exactly as you enter it when placing the order. Please check your entries carefully before submitting. A1A Signs and Graphics Inc. cannot be held responsible for misprints, errors, or penalties incurred at the border that result from incorrect information entered by the buyer. Optional printed proofs are available for an additional $5 where indicated. Any changes to an order must be communicated to us by phone or email before printing begins. Printing of orders is initiated on the same day orders are received.
All submitted orders are processed the next business day or the business day after, depending on order size. Standard processing time is 7 business days or less. If unforeseen circumstances delay your order, we will notify you by email with the next available completion date and the date of pickup or shipping.
Prices
All prices are in Canadian dollars and are subject to change without notice. We cannot control price increases by print material suppliers, couriers, and shipping companies. We reserve the right to correct any price information entered incorrectly on the site.
Payment
All online payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card information on our servers. Charges appear on your statement as “A1ASIGNS”. Refunds issued through Stripe can take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement; Stripe’s original transaction fees are not returned on refunds.
Shipping
We ship to Canada and the United States only.
- Canada: orders ship by Canada Post with tracking, shown at checkout as “Tracking Parcel”. Shipping rates are calculated live at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination.
- United States: orders ship by Canada Post Small Packet USA Air with tracking, shown at checkout as “Tracking Parcel USA”.
- Ontario local pickup: customers in Ontario may choose free local pickup at checkout instead of shipping (see Local pickup below).

When your order is ready, you will receive an email confirming it is ready for pickup. Please bring your order confirmation (printed or on your phone). Orders are held for a reasonable time; if you cannot pick up within 30 days, please contact us to make arrangements.
Returns and refunds
Custom-printed items (labels, stickers, and forms printed with your company information) are made to order and cannot be resold, so they are final sale. If your order arrives misprinted, damaged in transit, or materially different from what you approved, let us know within 14 days of delivery and we will reprint the affected items at no charge or refund them, your choice. Please include your order number and, if possible, a photo of the issue.
Blank stock and non-customised items in unused, original condition may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.
Cancellations: if your order has not yet gone to print, we will cancel it and refund you in full. Once printing has started, the custom-print terms above apply.
Approved refunds are issued to your original method of payment within 10 business days. To start a return or report a problem, use the contact form on our Contact page and include your order number.
A1A Signs business terms
All signs, software and hardware products are property of A1A Signs until paid in full. Permits, variances, and drawings are not included in quoted costs. CSA approval and city permits are the client’s responsibility unless clearly requested from A1A Signs at extra cost. You will be informed of any unforeseen additional costs incurred, and they will be added to the invoice. A1A Signs is not responsible for colours, artwork, or spelling that was not approved by the client. There are no refunds or returns after final approval. Non-returning client files are kept for 2 months only. Standard warranty is 1-year parts, material and labour; repairs pertain to affected areas only. Payment of an invoice means acceptance of these terms. Unpaid accounts are subject to 21% annual interest charges, and the purchaser is liable for all collection costs incurred as a result of default in payment. Window perforated vinyl carries no warranty.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, A1A Signs and Graphics Inc. owns the intellectual property rights in the site and its material. You may view and print pages for your own personal or business use, subject to the restrictions below. You must not republish, sell, rent, sub-license, reproduce, duplicate, copy, or redistribute material from this site without our written permission.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The site and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from any order placed through it, including indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top will always show the most recent version. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
